DISH is a synthetic pop band created by Jackdaw Cerakovik in an effort to branch out into a solo career. His musicians rotate based on his connection with Priyananawlydekayo "Lyd" Ezingenaswele-Korekore, his mixer. Lyd would also use her funds from the successful group to form her own music label; Nikdy Nepodat.

Musical style and Influences

Jackdaw credits much of the group's style to the influence of Anya Marquez's progressive style and Lyd's downtempo sound mixing. He also references his love for the showmanship of pop stars as well as indie pop record label Share Alike, which he eventually would be signed to. Although not his most commercially successful album, Vatches was highly praised by critics for incorporating more of the progressive sound his previous collaborators were known for.
