The west coast’s answer to areas like Egland Home, Iokiwaters or Lothesteep, Ohmo is a beach town focused on the arts and the strong influence of Todao culture. Known especially for their chamber orchestra, opera, and dance, Ohmo is a modern city with traditional pleasures.

The Ohmo Conservatory of Music (OCoM) has turned out several famed musicians including the famous violinist Alde Alsanov – the current OCoM head.

The Ohmo Film Festival is one of the world's longest running festivals with one season in mid-summer. It is known for featuring titles from unknown directors that later achieve great fame, such of the Sha Brother's Uembian Rights Project and Mynljo Knokkelhâlder's cult classic Magenta.
