“They drink blood, they only come out at night, they’re charming, attractive, dangerous, and live forever…but eternal life comes at a higher price than a pint of blood.
Every hundred years, the youngest generation of Hwoxin must make a choice. Once you’ve turned, see, you have to turn someone else. And there’s only one way. On a full moon, the Hwoxin will hunt down firstborn children, and take them back to their lair. There, they start to drain their victim’s blood, but before they can die, they force the firstborns to eat the flesh of the young Hwoxin, passing on the curse from one generation of Hwoxin to the next. The firstborns turn into the next generation, and the curse continues.”
considered a curse. there are varying levels of infection and ways to cure, or to pass on, this affliction.
1 - can be satisfied with raw flesh
2 - must have blood
3 - must have fresh blood
4 - can only survive on same-species blood
5 - can only survive on same-species blood and same blood type
a curse can be passed on much easier than it can be cured. This action is psychologically criminal if not legally, so the practice is not commonly known.
some curses cannot be transferred easily, and thus are criminal even to Tesh.
Curses are not popular outside of Marcwith, so this affliction is not so well known in other parts of the world.
How does this relate to the Inyoni? The bllod-letting school is all about consuming human flesh - but this is not a curse. Or is it? How do Tesh/Joro rules influnece the Inyoni in Marcwith?
