Ilith Kal

Ilith Kal is one of the oldest cities in Dakra. Originally developed by ancient peoples as a farming community, the lucrative Rosemint plant saw the development of this land into a territory, a kingdom, and eventually a self-governing city state that has remained remarkably sovereign despite decades of changing hands between Darkra and Troe.

Geography and Climate

Ilith Kal is located in the south eastern extreme of modern day Dakra. The oceanic climate allows for cloudy weather and almost year-round rain with hours of clear sun usually experienced in summer months. It has a cool winter with annual, but minimal, snowfall. The wet climate with minimal sun and frost is the ideal conditional for the growth of uncommon mint varietals.

History

historically attacked by all neighbors in effort to control mint trades. also the scene of many early uembian/human skirmishes during and after the great migration.

Politics

always remained neutral in large conflicts. this is possible because the whole city is built around trade and functions with a degree of perfection no leader would dare displace.

Society

extremely xenophobic. one of largest populations of (non-coalescent) humans in the world.
